I am a counselor and psychotherapist. My experience includes over twenty-five years of counseling experience and more than ten years as an addiction and mental health counselor and therapist. In addition, I have extensive experience with research, writing, assessment and treatment of the effects of traumatic life experiences on people, including acute and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My treatment approaches are wide and varied, depending on individual client needs, and include psycho-dynamic, the seeking safety model (safety, mourning & reconnection) and virtually all approaches currently being used to aid in the recovery from PTSD.

In addition to helping people recover and reconnect from trauma-related problems, I also have extensive knowledge and experience in addictions and other areas of mental health, including depression and anxiety therapies. My overall therapy approach is to join in a partnership with people seeking help to assist them in defining and reaching their goals, thereby achieving a better, happier and more fulfilling life for themselves and their loved ones.    With over eleven years experience as am expert in PTSD treatment and recovery and family therapist, and as a graduate of Eastern Washington University specializing in cognitive behavioral, solution focused and other types of therapy, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.

I work in a partnership with all clients to actively address personal life challenges, integrating complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
